Thierry Neuville strengthened his lead at the 2026 Acropolis Rally Greece after setting the fastest time on SS12, while Adrien Fourmaux lost almost two minutes following a puncture.

The Hyundai Motorsport driver had been running third overall before stopping to change a tyre during the stage, dropping to sixth in the overall classification.

"A flat tyre. I felt a top in the line I couldn't see in the shadow. I don't know what it is exactly, there were so many things," Fourmaux said.

At the front, Neuville beat Sebastien Ogier by 7.1 seconds on SS12 to extend his overall advantage to 10.8 seconds heading into Saturday's final stage.

"That's good. I had a great stage. That was working amazing. The car was super quick and I was really enjoying it. One more to go for today and let's hope we get through. I heard Adrien had a problem in here, so nothing's over."

Ogier admitted he encountered dust from Fourmaux's car on the downhill sections but said it had only a limited impact on his stage time.

"We had some dust towards the downhill here. That's how it is. It didn't cost me much, just disturbed some corners. Not too bad. I pushed hard the whole downhill."

Fourmaux's setback promoted Takamoto Katsuta to third overall, ahead of Josh McErlean and Elfyn Evans. One more special stage remains on Saturday before the Acropolis Rally concludes on Sunday.
