MotoGP is marching steadily toward a new set of technical regulations designed to reduce aerodynamic influence, yet manufacturers refuse to slow down their relentless development in this area. Marc Marquez has now been spotted utilizing a fresh aero solution heavily inspired by their fierce competitors on the grid.
Until recent years, racing motorcycles featured little more than basic wings. However, aerodynamic evolution has since exploded. Following stepped fairings and unhomologated tail fins, attention has firmly shifted toward the swingarm, which is increasingly covered by specialized fairings.
According to Motorsport.com, Aprilia initially pioneered this specific avenue by introducing two vertical fins on the RS-GP at Silverstone following the summer break, aimed at tackling rear wheel turbulence.

The concept clearly proved encouraging as a similar design soon emerged on Ducati machinery at Phillip Island, with Marquez continuing to run the setup during practice at Sepang.
Refusing to sit still, the Noale factory instantly fired back in Malaysia by introducing an advanced angled L-shaped evolution mounted on Marco Bezzecchi's motorcycle, highlighting an ongoing development war heading toward 2027.
