MotoGP has officially confirmed that the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia will host the 2027 season finale. The announcement completes part of the puzzle after the season opener in Buriram was already set.
The Valencian Grand Prix will take place on 26-28 November 2027, marking another late-season finish. This continues the tradition of Valencia closing the championship in recent years.
Carlos Ezpeleta, Deputy CEO of MotoGP, expressed his delight. “There are few places that capture the spirit of a MotoGP season finale quite like Circuit Ricardo Tormo,” he said. “The circuit, the city and the fans create a truly special atmosphere every year, making it the perfect venue to bring another season of world-class competition to a close.”
Support also came from local government. President of the Valencia Government, Juanfran Perez Llorca, called the news excellent. “Hosting the final round of the MotoGP World Championship is a tribute to the event organisers and to our fans, who ensure that this Grand Prix continues to grow year on year,” he said.
MotoGP also confirmed that the remainder of the 2027 calendar will be released this Friday. Fans are eager to see if there will be new circuits or changes to the schedule. Valencia itself is known for its challenging layout, with tight corners and a narrow track, often deciding championships in the final round.
With Valencia confirmed as the finale, the 2027 season is expected to deliver drama until the last race. Teams and riders must prepare for extra pressure at the final round, where the title could be decided.
This confirmation also provides clarity for teams and sponsors in planning logistics and marketing strategies. The Ricardo Tormo circuit is known for its packed grandstands and vibrant atmosphere, making it an ideal stage for a season-ending celebration.
