Marco Morelli continues to lead the Moto3 2026 standings after the Austrian round, but his advantage is being trimmed by Valentin Perrone and Hakim Danish. With 174 points, Morelli holds a 28-point lead over Perrone (146 points), while Danish sits third with 118 points.
Battle at the Top
Morelli, riding for CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team, has been consistent all season. However, Perrone from Red Bull KTM Tech3 has impressed with 146 points, just 28 behind. Meanwhile, Hakim Danish of AEON Credit - MT Helmets - MSI is a surprise package with 118 points, despite not yet winning a race. This tight battle promises exciting duels for the rest of the season.
Asian and Rookie Riders Shine
In fourth place, Veda Pratama of Honda Team Asia has 101 points, just 17 behind Danish. The young Indonesian rider continues to show rapid progress. Meanwhile, Matteo Bertelle (LEVEL UP - MTA) is fifth with 100 points, followed by Adrian Cruces (CIP Green Power) with 86 points.

Interestingly, two rookies, Guido Pini (Leopard Racing) and Rico Salmela (Red Bull KTM Tech3), are tied on 70 points in sixth and seventh. They are just 1 point behind Casey O'Gorman (SIC58 Squadra Corse) who has 69 points in eighth. The competition in this group is fierce.
Team Dominance and Opportunities
In terms of teams, CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team and Red Bull KTM Tech3 dominate the top. However, Honda Team Asia and Leopard Racing also show strength with riders in the top ten. With many races remaining, strategy and consistency will be key.
Morelli's stable performance makes him the favorite, but Perrone and Danish are ready to apply pressure. Meanwhile, Pratama and Pini have the opportunity to climb higher if they can capitalize on every chance. The Moto3 2026 standings are heating up ahead of the next rounds.
