The thrilling action of the off-road racing season opener kicked off in style with the ADAC Supercross Stuttgart at the historic Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle. The prestigious event immediately delivered intense battles as top riders fought hard to secure crucial momentum and valuable championship points right from the very first gate drop.
French standout Maxime Desprey emerged as the undisputed star in the premier SX1 class. Representing the Sturm Racing Team, the experienced 33-year-old rider dominated proceedings from the afternoon practice sessions all the way through to the main event.
His sheer speed translated into a masterclass performance during the 18-lap final showdown. Pushing his machine to the absolute limit, the French favorite pulled away from the chasing pack to secure a commanding victory ahead of American challenger Ryan Breece.

Further down the order, the battle for the remaining podium spots provided plenty of entertainment for the fans. Mitchell Harrison had to defend fiercely against a late charge from fellow Frenchman Calvin Fonvieille, highlighting the intense competitive nature of the upgraded premier class field.
Reflecting on his dominant performance, the race winner shared his satisfaction with the media. "It was a truly great day for me. I got along very well with the track layout and was able to play with my bike right from the start," Maxime Desprey told Speedweek.
Looking ahead to the final day of the weekend, he emphasized the need to maintain full concentration. "I had a great start to the main event and rode some really strong laps early on, but we still have another day of racing ahead and we must stay fully focused," he concluded.
