The prestigious ADAC Supercross Stuttgart delivered high-stakes drama inside the iconic Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle as premier class contenders battled for supremacy. Following the withdrawal of key French contenders like Gregory Aranda and Cedric Soubeyras, alongside an early training crash from Jordi Tixier, the path toward the championship trophy opened wide for the weekend favorites.
Seizing the moment, Maxime Desprey of the Sturm Racing Team established absolute dominance in the SX1 category. The French rider set the benchmark by topping every practice session and comfortably winning his semifinal heat race under intense pressure from international challengers.
When the starting gate dropped for the grueling 18-lap main event, the Yamaha rider immediately grabbed the holeshot and checked out. With a clear track ahead, he managed his pace expertly to cruise toward a dominant victory in front of an enthusiastic crowd of European motorsport fans.

While he previously gapped the competition by over 14 seconds, he settled for a controlled ten-second margin over fellow countryman Brice Maylin. Adrian Escoffier rounded out the podium in third, while American challenger Ryan Breece fought hard to secure fourth place in the competitive 450cc field.
This historic triumph marks a major milestone for Desprey, who previously captured SX2 titles in Stuttgart and Dortmund. Claiming the ultimate crown in Germany serves as a perfect confidence boost heading into the highly anticipated Paris Supercross event.
"It feels amazing to win the 450 class overall for the first time and be crowned King of Stuttgart," Desprey shared. "I felt great all weekend long. The most important thing was avoiding mistakes. Even though some fast riders were missing, the competition was still incredibly fierce, and I always try to improve my riding."
Looking ahead to his upcoming commitments, he emphasized that his calculated riding style kept him safe from unnecessary risks. In a surprising post-race revelation, he also confirmed a major manufacturer switch for the upcoming racing calendar.
"When I am on the bike, I obviously give my absolute best, but everything was under control," he concluded. "I felt very fast without riding over the limit, which is my signature style. Furthermore, Paris will be my final race riding for Yamaha, as I will switch to Triumph for next season."
