A sensational drive was delivered by Max Verstappen during the Formula 1 Sao Paulo Grand Prix at Interlagos. Starting from the very back of the grid following a power unit change on his Red Bull RB22, the Dutch ace staged a remarkable charge through the field to secure a stunning second-place finish behind his championship rival.
Despite pulling off an incredible recovery drive to grab valuable points, the four-time world champion was far from satisfied with the handling and balance of his machine. Moments after taking the chequered flag, Verstappen vented his intense frustration over the team radio.
"My god. Doing 85 percent of the race with a messed-up car," Verstappen fumed over the team radio. "Of course P2 is nice, but not in this way. I am sorry, but what a disaster to drive. Unbelievable, I never experienced something like this in the wet, or in the dry. It is really, really bad."

Speaking further during the post-race FIA press conference, Verstappen elaborated on the severe aerodynamic and balance issues he faced throughout the 71-lap encounter. He demanded an immediate investigation from his engineering crew to determine whether a structural failure or aero loss occurred mid-race.
"The pace was not bad, but as soon as I switched to the slicks, I had some extreme amount of oversteer in the car in the high-speed corners, which made it super difficult to drive. So we need to understand if something broke on the car, some kind of aero loss, or whatever, because this was not normal," he explained.
