When the lights went out at Aragon, Marc Marquez immediately showed who's boss on this circuit. The reigning champion put on a dominant display in the MotoGP Aragon Sprint, leading from start to finish and adding valuable points to his title charge.
Marquez opened the weekend with a commanding victory, while his brother, Alex Marquez, finished second and managed to take precious points off the main rivals. This result makes the championship battle even more intense, with Marquez now just 34 points behind championship leader Jorge Martin.
Marco Bezzecchi took third place, followed by Pedro Acosta in fourth. Meanwhile, Martin had to settle for fifth after struggling to find his best rhythm. With these points, Martin still leads the standings with 245, 29 ahead of Bezzecchi in second.

The Sprint also served as a stage for young riders like Fermin Aldeguer, Diogo Moreira, and Johann Zarco, who impressed and scored points. Unfortunately, Fabio Di Giannantonio had to retire after a heavy crash in the middle of the race.
With this result, the title fight is getting even more exciting. Marquez has clearly shown his pace at Aragon, and the pressure is now back on Martin to bounce back in tomorrow's main race.
