Marc Marquez is not hiding his ambitions ahead of the 2026 Aragon MotoGP round. MotorLand is his fortress—seven wins and seven pole positions in the premier class say it all. Now with Ducati, he has been flawless: pole, Sprint win, and GP victory in 2024 (Gresini) and 2025 (factory team). No wonder the world champion arrives as the absolute favorite.
“I’ve had many successes in Aragon, especially in recent years with Ducati. This track really enhances my style and the way our bike handles,” said Marc Marquez.
That statement comes after a tough weekend at Silverstone, where rear tyre management was an issue and the track suited Aprilia better. However, two extra weeks of recovery have boosted his confidence ahead of round 13.

“Compared to Silverstone, with two more weeks to recover, I’m sure we’ll be much closer to the front group. We can fight for important positions, both in the Sprint and in Sunday’s race,” he added.
Ducati has indeed looked dominant at MotorLand lately. The combination of Marquez and the Italian machine is a nightmare for rivals. However, the biggest challenge comes from Jorge Martin, who leads the standings by 40 points after his win in England.
Aragon is a golden opportunity for Marquez to cut that gap. Raw speed and aggressive braking are his main weapons on this track full of tight corners. If everything goes well, don’t be surprised if a one-man show returns at MotorLand.
