The qualifying session for the Qatar Grand Prix at the Lusail International Circuit delivered a stunning statement as Marco Bezzecchi put on a masterclass aboard his Aprilia machine. The Italian rider secured a commanding pole position, comfortably beating his key rivals under the dramatic floodlights of the desert circuit.
Bezzecchi's dominance was evident right from the opening runs of Q2, as he laid down a benchmark time that left the rest of the field scrambling for answers. Although Marc Marquez pushed hard to bridge the gap during the final minutes, the Ducati star had to settle for second place, finishing a quarter of a second adrift after Bezzecchi improved his stellar lap to a 1m50.028s.
Completing the front row for the upcoming races is Fabio Di Giannantonio, who carried his strong Friday pace straight into the decisive shootout. Meanwhile, the second row features Trackhouse Aprilia duo Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura, sandwiching reigning contender Pecco Bagnaia in fifth.

Drama also unfolded elsewhere on the grid as Jorge Martin voiced his frustration toward Pedro Acosta for traffic interference late in the session. Despite the tense moments, Acosta managed to extend his qualifying streak over teammate Brad Binder, who unfortunately crashed out at Turn 1 during his initial push lap.
Further down the order, intense midfield battles involved Enea Bastianini and Fermin Aldeguer, while Maverick Vinales continued to struggle with his shoulder injury, leaving him to anchor the starting grid from the very back.
