The premier class paddock is facing a tense atmosphere as Marc Marquez reveals his travel plans for the upcoming round. The multi-time world champion stated that he will head to the Lusail International Circuit at the absolute latest possible time following a dramatic weekend in Malaysia.
Fresh off a crucial victory in Sepang, the star rider for the Ducati Lenovo Team now holds a strong championship match point heading into the Middle Eastern venue. However, the event has been overshadowed by ongoing regional debates and Yamaha's controversial decision to withdraw from the Grand Prix.
Speaking to broadcasters after the Malaysian round, the Spanish rider outlined his tight schedule. "I go back to Spain and I will arrive in Qatar the latest time possible, Thursday evening," he explained regarding his delayed arrival ahead of media day.

Meanwhile, other figures in the paddock are managing their travel and safety concerns differently. KTM rider Pedro Acosta shared his intention to take a short break before making the trip, while Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi insisted that adequate safety assurances have been secured from the organizers.
"I know that the organizers told us that everything there is safe, so we go there because the Qatar community deserve this race," Tardozzi remarked, reinforcing the team's commitment to the championship calendar.
