Marc Marquez openly discussed his past "hate" for Jack Miller in a heartfelt video message created by MotoGP to mark the Australian rider's final home Grand Prix appearance. Miller is set to call time on his grand prix career at the conclusion of this season and will transition to the World Superbikes championship with the factory Yamaha squad in 2027.
Last weekend's Australian Grand Prix marked his emotional final outing as a regular MotoGP rider, where Miller successfully scored points in the sprint race before the main event was ultimately cancelled due to adverse weather conditions at Phillip Island.
In a special tribute to celebrate his career milestone, MotoGP compiled messages from various paddock figures sharing their favourite memories of the veteran Australian. Seven-time world champion Marquez reflected on the intense rivalry of their early days, which stemmed from Miller's fierce title battle against his brother, Alex Marquez, in the Moto3 class back in 2014.

Despite the initial friction, their relationship evolved significantly over the years as they got to know each other away from the competitive spotlight. Marquez famously finished runner-up to Miller during the chaotic wet conditions at the historic 2016 Dutch Grand Prix when the Australian secured his maiden premier class victory.
Support also poured in from former Ducati team-mate Pecco Bagnaia, who partnered with Miller inside the factory garage from 2019 through 2022. The double world champion admitted that sharing podiums together remains one of his fondest memories, emphasizing that the entire paddock will deeply miss Miller's presence next season.
