“It was a wonderful qualifying session and I am very happy. This was essential because starting as far ahead as possible is crucial, especially with a Marc who is running so fast,” Bezzecchi explained regarding his performance.
On the other side of the garage, Marquez openly acknowledged the superior pace demonstrated by his Italian rival. The veteran Spaniard noted that his opponent holds a noticeable performance advantage and operates on a different level, making damage limitation and points management the primary objectives for the race.
“We know they are operating on another level this weekend. Our task is to manage the race wisely to lose as few points as possible,” Marquez stated following the session.
With a powerhouse front row set for the upcoming races, fans can anticipate a fierce tactical duel right from the moment the lights go out. Tire choice and grip management will undoubtedly dictate the battle for the top step of the podium in Lusail.
