The Formula 1 race weekend at the Sepang Circuit once again delivered dramatic weather conditions that tested the mental and physical resilience of drivers on the tarmac. Amidst a wet track surface and multiple safety car interventions, Liam Lawson put on a stellar performance to bring home a brilliant seventh-place finish. The impressive display from the New Zealand driver not only boosted squad morale but also ensured the Faenza-based team secured crucial double points in their ongoing battle for constructors' standings position.
The success of Racing Bulls was further complemented by Arvid Lindblad's solid run to tenth place at the checkered flag. This double-points finish marks the sixth time this season that both cars have successfully broken into the top ten simultaneously. This positive outcome leaves Alpine further behind in the fight for fifth place in the world constructors' championship, with the points gap now stretching to 22 points heading into the next round in Singapore.
Following the grueling race, Liam Lawson could not hide his satisfaction with the car's pace and the pit wall's tactical precision throughout the Grand Prix. He openly praised the opening moments of the race as the primary key to his success. “I made one of the best starts of my life and we managed to maintain a strong position at the head of the midfield pack throughout the race,” stated Liam Lawson, expressing his delight after securing vital points for Racing Bulls.

The driver added that every aspect of the weekend went according to plan thanks to collective hard work in the garage and team headquarters. “Our car went very well all weekend and the race strategy was flawless. Seeing our Power Unit take the win also caps off the great work done by the team, both at the factory and on track, so a huge thank you to everyone,” he added, highlighting their overall technical package performance in Sepang.
Meanwhile, Arvid Lindblad, tackling his first wet-weather Formula 1 race at the circuit, admitted the event was packed with intense moments. Frequent pit stop changes and safety car deployments demanded maximum concentration. “It was definitely a busy day with various pit stops and Safety Car entries. We got a fantastic result and the team worked so well, making the right decisions at the right time,” said Arvid Lindblad, wrapping up his weekend review with high optimism ahead of the Sprint format in Singapore.
