Lando Norris 'Feels Violated' by Paparazzi Invading His Private Life

Lando Norris, the reigning Formula 1 world champion, has opened up about his growing frustration with paparazzi invading his private life. In a candid interview, the McLaren driver admitted he now feels 'violated' by the constant attention.

Norris's fame has skyrocketed over the past 12 months, especially after clinching the title. But with fame comes a price: photographers are willing to wait hours outside clubs or restaurants just to snap an exclusive photo. The tipping point came when Norris was seen sprinting away from The Twenty Two, a private members' club in London, after meeting American model and influencer Alix Earle.

"I'm getting older and I want to be able to go out - not to party, but just to have dinner and socialize," said Norris. "Last year, I'd stay home gaming, feeling like a loser. Now I go out with friends more, but it's all caught on camera and splashed across social media."

Norris insists he has the right to enjoy life outside F1. But the line is crossed when paparazzi start following him. "I drove to a friend's house in London and knew a paparazzo was trailing me the whole way, for 40 minutes through London, just waiting to see who I'd meet and where I'd go. That's the first time I started to feel violated," he explained.

While accepting the pressures of being an F1 driver, Norris draws the line at being followed. "It doesn't feel like private life is private anymore. It's just life now. That's part of being an F1 driver, but there are boundaries, and I won't accept people following me. That's just odd," he asserted.

On track, Norris's form is on the up. His win at the Hungarian Grand Prix shows McLaren is finding its pace after a rocky start. But off track, he's battling a different kind of opponent: the relentless paparazzi.
