The action heated up at the Sepang circuit as Kimi Antonelli seized control during the final practice session ahead of the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix weekend.
The Italian prodigy stunned the paddock by laying down a blistering lap time of 1:36.302s. His impressive pace easily outpaced Friday's benchmark times, cementing a strong statement of intent for the Mercedes squad.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen chased hard but had to settle for second place, finishing roughly two tenths adrift of the leading Silver Arrows. The Dutchman fought balance issues throughout the session as teams fine-tuned their setups for qualifying.

Rounding out the top tier, Isack Hadjar continued his stellar run with the third-fastest time. George Russell slotted into fourth, while Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton completed the top six as track conditions evolved.
