Isack Hadjar Claims Max Verstappen Would Have Won Even Easier in a Ferrari at Singapore

Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar sparked major discussions in the Formula 1 media pen ahead of the United States Grand Prix weekend by delivering a remarkably candid assessment of his rivals' recent pace, suggesting a different machinery outcome for the reigning world champion at the Marina Bay street circuit.

The outspoken young French talent did not hold back his thoughts during the official pre-event press conference in Texas. According to his analysis of the previous race weekend, the red cars possessed the ultimate baseline speed on the twisty layout, prompting a bold hypothetical scenario regarding the championship leader's potential dominance.

"I believe that if Max Verstappen had been driving the Ferrari, he would have won the race with an even bigger margin, that is my opinion. In Singapore, I think Ferrari was the fastest car," Hadjar stated openly when breaking down the competitive hierarchy witnessed under the lights in Southeast Asia.

Shifting focus to the upcoming sessions at the Circuit of The Americas, the driver expressed genuine excitement about tackling the undulating American venue while acknowledging the solid technical baseline provided by his engineering crew over the preceding rounds, despite ongoing development battles across the pit lane.

"I am glad to be here in Texas. I like the track and the car, in terms of performance, has worked really well over the last two weekends. As a team we are confident, but obviously we are aware of the improvements made by the other garages. We keep our feet on the ground and we still know the weaknesses of the car. We are still working on it. I just want to get on track and do another clean race, because the last two weekends have been very frustrating, considering the car I was given," he concluded.

With paddock chatter intensifying around upgrade packages and championship permutations, the remarks add an intriguing psychological layer to the on-track hostilities as teams prepare for high-stakes running in North America, as reported by FormulaPassion.
