Hadjar Ruled Out of Spanish GP, Lawson Stays at Red Bull
TO NEWS OVERVIEW
Hadjar has enjoyed a solid start to his Red Bull career

Red Bull has confirmed that Isack Hadjar will miss this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid as he continues his recovery from a wrist injury sustained during a boxing session in the F1 summer break.

Liam Lawson will deputise for the Frenchman for a third consecutive race weekend, while Yuki Tsunoda remains at Racing Bulls, Red Bull's sister team, covering for Lawson.

The Milton Keynes-based squad announced the decision on Monday evening, stating that Hadjar's recovery is progressing positively but he is not yet ready to return to the cockpit. He will nonetheless travel to Madrid to support the team from the garage.

Hadjar, 21, suffered a hairline fracture of his wrist while boxing during the summer shutdown, forcing him to sit out the Dutch and Italian Grands Prix. Madrid marks his third consecutive absence, with no clear timeline yet for his return.

Following the Spanish round, F1 enjoys a two-week break before a triple-header begins with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on 24-26 September. Lawson has scored a seventh-place finish at Zandvoort and 14th at Monza, while Tsunoda took 11th and 10th in the same races.
