An unexpected incident unfolded in the paddock at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez ahead of the opening practice session this weekend. Isack Hadjar was caught on video pushing away an individual who approached him aggressively for a selfie as he hurried toward his team garage.
The Federation Internationale de l'Automobile summoned the young French driver to see the stewards on Saturday. After reviewing the footage and hearing testimonies from both the driver and a team representative, officials ruled that the physical reaction breached the governing body's International Sporting Code.
During the hearing, it was explained that the Red Bull hopeful was already running late for the session. He had previously stopped to accommodate a young fan for a photograph before another guest abruptly invaded his personal space in a crowded environment.

While the push constituted misconduct under Article 12.2.1(l), the stewards opted for a formal warning after identifying five key mitigating circumstances, including inadequate security presence and an unwanted aggressive approach in a congested paddock.
This chaotic environment echoes previous complaints from drivers like Max Verstappen, who famously likened the modern Formula 1 paddock atmosphere to a zoo due to the overwhelming volume of VIP guests granted access.
