Adrien Fourmaux is facing a major challenge at Rally Chile after suffering two tyre failures on SS13 and SS14 on Sunday morning. The Hyundai driver must complete a 26-kilometre road section with his current tyres before he can fit two new ones at the refuelling zone.

On SS14, the left-rear tyre of Fourmaux's Hyundai came off its rim, although the rubber was not completely destroyed. He had already suffered a slow puncture on the previous stage. "I was just driving on the line, but I don't know what happened. I didn't hit anything," Fourmaux said at the end of SS14.

Despite the setback, Fourmaux insisted the situation was under control. He benefits from a special rule at Rally Chile that allows drivers to fit two new tyres at the refuelling point. However, the real challenge is reaching that point with the damaged tyres.

Meanwhile, Oliver Solberg set the fastest time on SS14, beating Elfyn Evans by 1.3 seconds. Solberg now leads the overall standings by 14.5 seconds over Evans. Sebastien Ogier completes a Toyota one-two-three, 20.8 seconds off the lead.

In the Super Sunday standings, Evans leads Solberg by 4.6 seconds. Ogier holds third place, just 5.1 seconds ahead of Fourmaux, who remains in contention despite two tyre failures. Sami Pajari stays fifth overall and in the Super Sunday standings.

With two stages remaining, the battle at Rally Chile is far from over. Fourmaux must maximise his remaining performance to hold his position, while Solberg and Evans fight for victory.
