Ferrari's supreme pace at Austin continued to shine during the final practice session, with Lewis Hamilton topping the timesheets in FP3 for the 2026 United States Grand Prix. The British driver showcased the true potential of the SF-26 challenger, successfully bouncing back from the technical difficulties he faced earlier in the weekend.
However, the red dominance at the very top could have belonged to his teammate instead. Charles Leclerc initially posted the fastest lap using soft compound tires that would have secured him P1, but his lap time was deleted by race control due to a track limits infringement, dropping him down to third place overall.
Sandwiched right between the two scarlet cars was the ever-consistent Max Verstappen. The Dutchman slotted into second position and firmly remains the driver to beat heading into tomorrow's crucial grid-decide sessions and the main Grand Prix.

Further down the virtual podium positions, the Silver Arrows put up a strong fight in fourth and fifth. Kimi Antonelli claimed a solid fourth place, finishing nearly half a second adrift of Hamilton's benchmark, though the young Italian was also among the many drivers penalized by deleted lap times.
Rounding out the top five behind Antonelli was his teammate George Russell in fifth, closely followed by Oscar Piastri. With track limits proving to be a massive headache across the entire grid, qualifying promises high drama under the Austin sun.
