Kimi Antonelli remains at the top of the 2026 Formula 1 drivers' standings. The young Mercedes driver has amassed 302 points, 66 points ahead of his teammate George Russell, who sits second with 236 points. Mercedes' dominance is further emphasized by Russell's consistent performances throughout the season.
In third place, Lewis Hamilton of Ferrari has collected 199 points. The seven-time world champion has yet to break Mercedes' stranglehold but remains a serious threat in every race. Meanwhile, Lando Norris of McLaren is fourth with 186 points, just 13 points behind Hamilton.
Charles Leclerc is fifth with 179 points. The Ferrari driver has shown speed but has lost valuable points due to incidents. Behind him, Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing has 163 points, far from the top. The reigning world champion has had an up-and-down season with his team.
Oscar Piastri completes the top six with 120 points, followed by Isack Hadjar of Red Bull Racing with 86 points. Liam Lawson of Racing Bulls is ninth with 59 points, ahead of Pierre Gasly of Alpine with 41 points.
Notably, rookie Arvid Lindblad of Racing Bulls has impressed with 37 points, ahead of Franco Colapinto (Alpine, 27 points) and Oliver Bearman (Haas, 20 points). Meanwhile, the Audi duo of Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hulkenberg have scored 10 and 7 points respectively.
At the bottom of the standings, Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon of Williams have only 7 and 5 points. Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin is 19th with 3 points, while Yuki Tsunoda of Racing Bulls has 1 point. Lance Stroll (Aston Martin), Valtteri Bottas (Cadillac), and Sergio Perez (Cadillac) have yet to score.
With eight races remaining, the title fight is still open. Antonelli has a big advantage, but Russell and Hamilton have not given up. The standings will continue to change as teams' performances and race strategies unfold. Mercedes currently looks dominant, but Ferrari and McLaren are ready to apply pressure.
