The world of child safety has welcomed a high-profile figure from elite motorsport, as Nico Rosberg officially joins German multinational company CYBEX as its global child safety ambassador. This significant partnership was announced directly at the CYBEX headquarters in Bayreuth, Germany, during an exclusive panel discussion featuring the company founder, Martin Pos. This strategic collaboration bridges a strong shared vision between advanced child protection technology and the unique perspective of a former professional racing driver who now dedicates his focus to safeguarding young lives on the road.
For Nico Rosberg, who famously secured the Formula 1 world championship in 2016 while scorching past 300 km/h on racing circuits, his core priorities shifted dramatically upon becoming a father. The German driver openly confessed that his perception of risk and speed underwent a massive transformation, heavily influencing his decision to retire immediately after claiming his maiden world title. Today, his primary concern is ensuring that children inside road cars receive protection standards just as rigorous as those enforced within professional racing paddocks.
During the special launch event, CYBEX unveiled its newest cutting-edge product lineup named the Platinum S-Line, featuring an advanced modular system designed to grant families maximum flexibility across various stages of a child's travel development. This fresh lineup comprises four primary solutions engineered with top-tier protective standards, starting with the Cloud S infant car seat which boasts a 10 percent lighter build, 15 percent more interior width, and a 5 percent increase in safety performance compared to its predecessor, the Cloud T model.

The innovations continue with the introduction of the Anoris S Airbag, a revolutionary forward-facing child seat suitable from 15 months onward that incorporates a full-body integrated airbag system capable of deploying within milliseconds during an impact. Alternatively, the Sirona S allows parents to keep their children rear-facing for an extended period up to approximately four and a half years old, maximizing neck and spine support during transit.
This alliance between Nico Rosberg and CYBEX stems from a mutual dedication to pushing the absolute limits of technology, innovation, and design. The former racing star emphasized that their shared belief that safety must continuously evolve serves as his main driving force to bring this vital message to a much broader global audience, reinforcing that ultimate protection always begins with proactive measures on every family drive.
