Esteban Ocon and the Haas Formula 1 team have officially confirmed that their partnership will conclude at the end of the 2026 season. Esteban's driving experience and input were significant as we've worked hard to develop the VF-26 across the season."
Komatsu added that the team's focus remains on the remainder of the season. "There's still plenty of racing ahead. And our focus remains on working together to maximize every opportunity through to the final race of the year," he stated. This underscores Haas's desire to finish the season strongly despite Ocon's impending departure.
It is currently unclear whether Ocon will remain on the F1 grid for 2027. However, with an outstanding resume and several seats yet to be confirmed, the Frenchman may not be saying farewell just yet. The driver market for next season remains fluid, and Haas's decision could trigger further movements.
