Veda Pratama set the fastest time in Practice for the 2026 German Moto3 round at the Sachsenring, recording a 1m25.848s for Honda Team Asia.
The Indonesian rider finished just 0.008 seconds ahead of Joel Esteban. Eddie O'Shea took third, only 0.035 seconds behind Pratama, underlining the closely matched pace at the front of the field.
Jesus Rios completed the session in fourth, with Alvaro Carpe in fifth. The leading six riders were separated by only 0.125 seconds as Marco Morelli completed that group.

Hakim Danish, Cormac Buchanan, Matteo Bertelle and Ryusei Yamanaka completed the top 10. Brian Uriarte narrowly missed that group in 11th, 0.262 seconds behind Pratama's benchmark.
Practice was held on a dry track with an ambient temperature of 22 degrees Celsius and a ground temperature of 41 degrees. The conditions produced a tightly compressed order, with the leading 19 riders covered by less than half a second.
Maximo Quiles and David Almansa did not record classified lap times. The result established Pratama as the leading reference heading into the grid-deciding sessions for the German Moto3 round.
