Veda Ega Pratama has reflected on a rapid career progression that began with his appearance in Indonesia in 2022 and has now taken him to the Moto3 level. The young rider admitted that the development has felt remarkably fast.
Veda was first featured in the material as a 13-year-old in 2022, when he competed in the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup. He subsequently continued through the Asia Talent Cup in 2023, Red Bull Rookies Cup and JuniorGP before reaching Moto3.

“It feels fast. In 2022 I was still in the Asia Talent Cup, then in 2023 the Talent Cup again, then Red Bull Rookies Cup, JuniorGP, and now I can already be in Moto3,” Veda said. He added that reaching this stage has been a positive development in his career.

Asked about the most challenging section of the Mandalika circuit, Veda pointed to the final sector. He identified the two final corners as particularly demanding because of their combination of high speed and heavy braking.
Veda also addressed the attention surrounding him on social media. He acknowledged that he cannot control every comment directed at him and said he prefers to take the positive elements from the discussion and use them as motivation.
“What Mas Mario said is that we cannot control it. So, for myself, I just take the positive things and turn them into motivation,” Veda said.
His progression has now taken him to Moto3, with Mandalika forming another important stage in that journey. The next focus is his appearance at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia after a career progression that Veda described as remarkably quick since 2022.
