Triple Eight Race Engineering has further cemented one of the most enduring partnerships in Supercars. The global energy drinks giant has officially extended its backing of the Queensland-based squad for another three years, tying the commitment through to the end of the 2029 season.
The partnership has been in place since 2013, when Red Bull took over as title sponsor from the departing Vodafone. With this extension, Triple Eight Race Engineering secures continued support from one of the most influential brands in motorsport for an extended period.
Triple Eight's Managing Director, Jamie Whincup, welcomed the decision, describing it as a testament to the team's hard work both on and off the track.

“Red Bull is one of the biggest and most respected forces in sports marketing anywhere in the world, so when they choose to back you for another three years, that’s not something we take lightly,” Whincup said. “It’s a credit to every single person in this team, and it tells you exactly where we’re taking this partnership next.”
Whincup stressed that the partnership goes beyond racing. “This partnership has always been about more than racing. It’s about sharing the journey with Red Bull, the successes and the challenges alike, and telling the story to fans here and everywhere else this sport reaches,” he added. He also emphasized that this extension is about the future, not just protecting past achievements.
“History matters, but for me this extension is about what’s next. We’re not here to protect what we’ve built – we’re here to take this partnership to another level, on the track and off it,” Whincup explained. “On track, that means pushing the whole operation harder than we ever have. Red Bull back people who are willing to take that risk and back their ideas, and that’s exactly the kind of partner you want when you’re trying to lead, not follow.”
Off track, Whincup revealed ambitious plans to enhance fan engagement. “There’s so much more we want to do together – new ideas, new ways to bring fans into this sport, and being upfront about the mistakes as well as the wins along the way,” he said. “Red Bull has never been shy about big ideas, and neither are we.”
He also highlighted the crucial role of Red Bull Australia in the partnership's success. “Their determination and their knowledge push us to be better every single day – honestly, they’re exactly the type of people you want in your corner when you’re chasing something bigger,” Whincup concluded.
