MotoGP rookie Toprak Razgatlioglu is set to undergo an MRI scan on his recently dislocated right shoulder immediately upon returning to Turkey, as team doctors evaluate the full extent of the damage sustained during a violent accident. The physical setback originated from a major Saturday morning highside crash at the Mandalika circuit, which severely compromised the rider's weekend campaign.
Despite suffering the painful shoulder dislocation in the dramatic morning spill, the determined rider remarkably returned to the track for qualifying and fought through the pain barrier to finish the Saturday Sprint in 19th position. However, with his physical condition deteriorating overnight, Razgatlioglu was ultimately forced to park his Pramac Yamaha machine on lap nine of the 27-lap Indonesian Grand Prix main race.
Tomorrow, I will return to Turkey and have an MRI as soon as possible to understand the condition of my shoulder, Razgatlioglu stated regarding his immediate medical roadmap. I hope I won’t need surgery and that some rest will be enough to recover for the next race. We will see what doctors say, but I hope I can come back stronger next weekend.

Detailing the physical limitations he encountered on Sunday, the Turkish star explained that the lack of muscular power proved far more debilitating than the baseline pain managed by painkillers. Every lap was getting worse, especially the quick directional changes at tricky sections like corner seven to eight and 13 to 14, where stability completely vanished under heavy loads.
When I move the shoulder a little bit, it felt like already it was out again, like it's feeling very strange, he admitted, reflecting on a bitter conclusion to a weekend that initially held strong promise before the crash derailed everything. With teammate Jack Miller also failing to finish the Indonesian round, Razgatlioglu now faces a crucial two-week recovery window ahead of the upcoming MotoGP round at Phillip Island on October 23-25.
