Tamarit Motorcycles has done it again on the international stage, winning Triumph Originals 2026. The Alicante-based customization specialist captured 33% of the public vote and the highest jury score, cementing its reputation as one of the world's premier builders.
A Time Capsule from Alicante
The competition, organized by Triumph, brought together seven finalists from Canada, China, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the USA. Each was challenged to create a unique Scrambler inspired by a pivotal era in the model's history. Participants could use any Triumph Scrambler, from 400cc to 900cc and 1,200cc.
Tamarit chose the new Triumph Scrambler 400 XC as its canvas. They brilliantly interpreted the 'time capsule' theme, producing a machine that blends classic charm with desert racing spirit. Quique Berna, the mastermind behind the project, explained their philosophy: “Like a white t-shirt, the Scrambler is timeless now and will remain so in twenty years.”

The result is stunning. A clean white body paired with a racing number and red seat creates an aesthetic that looks ready to tear across desert tracks. Small details reinforce the desert-racing-inspired character.
A Star-Studded Jury
What makes this win even more prestigious is the jury lineup. Steve Sargent, Triumph Motorcycles' Product Director, led a panel that included Chase McQueen, grandson of Hollywood legend Steve McQueen. Also on board were Eric Hendricx, automotive journalist, Rolf Henniges, founder of FUEL magazine in Germany, and Satoshi from Fonk Motorcycles in Japan.
The experts' feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Eric Hendricx praised the engineering and build quality that perfectly support the visual concept, resulting in a nimble, lightweight bike. Chase McQueen loved the undeniable racing look ready for action. Satoshi concluded that the balance between design and functionality demonstrates immense technical skill.
Tamarit's Consistency
This accolade is no fluke. Since 2010, Quique and Matias have built Tamarit from the ground up, turning their passion for gasoline into a global business. From their Alicante workshop, they have delivered over 210 unique motorcycles worldwide. Triumph Originals 2026 stands as proof that consistency and attention to detail can propel Spanish craftsmanship onto the international stage.
