Trackhouse Racing found its feet at just the right time as all three cars made the top 10, led by pole winner Ross Chastain at Daytona International Speedway.

Chastain edged RFK Racing's Chris Buescher by just 0.051s with a 48.808s lap. He was only fourth in the first round of qualifying before setting the fastest lap in the second round.

"For our Wendy's Watermelon Lemonade Chevy, honestly, I didn't expect this when we left the shop," said Chastain. "You always try to be efficient, minimizing drag at Daytona, then adding as much grip as possible with this new package. Hats off to Trackhouse and ECR—after last week's issues, we came back strong."

Shane van Gisbergen will start from sixth, just behind Riley Herbst of 23XI Racing. His Trackhouse teammate Connor Zilisch took eighth. Team Penske's Austin Cindric and Joey Logano, plus Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports, also made the top 10.

Trackhouse's qualifying performance is a strong signal for the main race. With three cars in solid starting positions, they are clearly aiming to improve on last week's disappointing result.

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona gets underway on Sunday at 8:30am AEST.
