Rafael Camara secured pole position for the Formula 2 Feature Race at the 2026 British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit. The Invicta Racing driver recorded a 1:39.690 during the 30-minute grid-setting session.

Alex Dunne placed Rodin Motorsport second, 0.201 seconds behind the pole time. Kush Maini of ART Grand Prix finished only one thousandth behind Dunne and will start the Feature Race from third.

Roman Bilinski delivered fourth place for DAMS Lucas Oil, while Nikola Tsolov completed the top five for Campos Racing. Only 0.282 seconds separated the leading five drivers, underlining the competitive margins at Silverstone.

Gabriele Mini qualified only 10th for MP Motorsport. However, the reverse-grid format means the championship leader will start Saturday’s Sprint Race from pole position alongside Ritomo Miyata on the front row.

Mini was investigated by the stewards for a potential unsafe release during qualifying. Following a review, no further action was taken, leaving the Italian driver’s result and starting positions unchanged.

Camara now holds a strategically important opportunity to reduce the championship deficit in the Feature Race. Changing weather, tyre degradation and Silverstone’s high-speed characteristics could nevertheless alter the competitive order, particularly with Dunne, Maini, Bilinski and Tsolov covered by such narrow margins.
