Moto3, Sportrik Media - The final official pre-season test of 2026 at Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto concluded its second day (FP2-Final) with Maximo Quiles from CFMOTO Aspar Team setting the fastest time, while Indonesian rookie Veda Pratama finished the session in 17th place with Honda Team Asia ahead of his first full season in the 2026 Moto3 World Championship.
Quiles recorded a best lap of 1:43.930 to lead the final classification of day two, edging Scott Ogden from CIP Green Power and Adrian Fernandez of Leopard Racing, who both posted identical times of 1:44.054. The equal margins in second and third highlighted the tight competition expected at the front heading into the season opener.
Veda Pratama set a 1:44.968 lap, placing him +1.038 seconds behind the session leader. With the top ten riders separated by less than six tenths of a second, set-up stability, slipstream management, and qualifying lap precision are expected to be decisive factors in the opening rounds.

Most of the field recorded times within one second of the fastest lap, underlining the close competitive spread. Jerez’s technical layout places emphasis on rhythm, braking stability, and positioning within large groups, factors likely to shape the early races of the season.
The Jerez pre-season test concluded the final preparations for Moto3 teams and riders before the championship moves to the opening round, where the initial competitive order of the 2026 season will begin to take shape.
