Jari Matti Latvala

Jari-Matti Latvala is a former Finnish rally driver who transitioned into the role of Team Principal of Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team in the FIA World Rally Championship. As a driver, he was recognized as a high-speed specialist on gravel and snow, achieving multiple WRC victories and becoming the youngest winner in WRC history at the time. After retiring from full-time competition, Latvala was appointed to lead Toyota’s WRC program, applying an experience-driven management style focused on technical understanding, driver development, and long-term strategy, helping sustain Toyota’s competitive success in the modern WRC era.
