Carmelo Ezpeleta

Carmelo Ezpeleta is a Spanish motorsport executive serving as CEO of Dorna Sports and a central figure in the commercial transformation and global expansion of MotoGP. Since assuming leadership of Dorna in the early 1990s, Ezpeleta has overseen the restructuring of the championship’s business model, strengthened international broadcasting rights, enhanced safety standards, and expanded the racing calendar into new global markets. Under his leadership, MotoGP has developed into one of the most commercially valuable motorcycle racing properties worldwide, integrating promotion, technical regulations in collaboration with the FIM, and management of support categories such as Moto2 and Moto3.
