Joan Mir

Joan Mir is a Spanish MotoGP rider known for his intelligent, efficient racing style and incredible consistency. Career Journey

• Moto3 Dominance & Rapid Transition (2015–2018): Mir showcased his special talent by winning the Moto3 title in 2017 with a highly dominant 10 victories. He spent only a single season in Moto2 before being scouted by Suzuki for a premier class promotion, proving how highly his potential was regarded.
• Historic MotoGP World Champion (2019–2022): The pinnacle of Mir's career came during the highly challenging 2020 season. With remarkable consistency, he successfully claimed the MotoGP World Championship title with Suzuki, ending the manufacturer's 20-year wait for a world title. In the following years, he remained a top-tier contender until Suzuki's decision to withdraw from MotoGP at the end of 2022.
• Transition Period at Repsol Honda (2023–2024): Mir joined the legendary Repsol Honda team in 2023. However, his initial seasons were marred by the technical struggles of the Honda RC213V and a series of injuries. Despite these heavy challenges, Mir showed mental fortitude by staying committed and working tirelessly to help the team undergo a massive overhaul.
• A New Era with Honda HRC Castrol (2025–Present): Entering the 2025 and 2026 seasons, Mir has embarked on a new chapter under the Honda HRC Castrol team structure with full factory status. With his championship experience and sharp analytical skills, he holds a central role in guiding the development direction of the new Honda machine.
