Fermin Aldeguer

Fermin Aldeguer is a phenomenal young Spanish rider widely considered one of the most promising talents on the current MotoGP grid. Making his way to the premier class with the Ducati squad, Aldeguer is known for his aggressive riding style, lightning-fast adaptability, and strong winning mentality. Career Journey

• Early Career & CEV Moto2 Dominance (2018–2021): Starting his professional career in the European Talent Cup, Aldeguer's talent exploded when he competed in the CEV Moto2 European Championship in 2021. He put on a totally dominant display, sweeping nine consecutive victories to lock up the European title, while simultaneously making his world championship debut in the MotoE and Moto2 classes.
• Moto2 Breakthrough & Title Contender (2022–2024): Racing full-time in the Moto2 class with the Speed Up team (Boscoscuro), Aldeguer continued to show a sharp upward trajectory. The absolute peak came in the latter half of the 2023 season, where he scored four spectacular consecutive victories and finished third in the championship. His consistent performances secured him a factory Ducati contract to move up to the premier class.
• Historic Debut & Rookie of the Year (2025): Promoted to MotoGP with the Gresini Racing satellite team in the 2025 season, Aldeguer immediately made massive waves. The pinnacle of his debut season was making history by winning the Indonesian Grand Prix at Mandalika, becoming the second-youngest rider to win a premier class race after Marc Marquez. His impressive performances throughout the season successfully earned him the Rookie of the Year title.
• Injury Challenge in His Sophomore Season (2026–Present): Entering the 2026 season, Aldeguer—now trusted to ride the latest factory-spec machinery (Desmosedici GP26) alongside his teammate, Alex Marquez—faced a heavy test. A pre-season training crash resulted in a fractured femur, forcing him to miss the official tests and the season opener in Thailand. Now, he faces a race against time to recover and return to the track to prove his potential at the front of the pack.
