Nikola Tsolov moved to the top of the 2026 Formula 2 standings after winning the British Grand Prix Sprint at Silverstone, drawing level on points with Gabriele Mini.
Tsolov and Mini now both have 116 points, but the Campos Racing driver leads the championship on countback. That advantage comes from his greater number of wins, with three feature-race victories compared with one for Mini.
The title fight between the pair was sharpened by their direct Sprint battle at Silverstone. Tsolov passed Mini on the 21st and final lap, turning the race victory into an immediate shift at the top of the drivers' championship.

Rafael Camara sits third on 83 points, although his two points for pole position will be awarded at the start of the feature race. Behind him, Alex Dunne holds fourth on 78 points, with Noel Leon fifth.
In the teams' championship, Campos Racing continues to lead on 176 points, ahead of MP Motorsport on 144. Rodin Motorsport remains third, while Invicta Racing is set to receive two additional points from Camara's pole at the start of the feature race.
A key change came in fifth place, where ART Grand Prix moved ahead of DAMS Lucas Oil. Kush Maini and Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak finished fourth and fifth in the Sprint, lifting ART to 75 points, two ahead of DAMS despite its double points finish with Dino Beganovic and Roman Bilinski.
With Tsolov and Mini now tied on points, the 2026 F2 title race has entered a more compressed phase. The next focus will be the Silverstone feature race, where Camara's pole-position points will be added and further movement remains possible in both the drivers' and teams' championships.
