Thierry Neuville responded to growing pressure from Sebastien Ogier by setting the fastest time on SS10 to extend his lead at the 2026 Acropolis Rally Greece.
The Hyundai Motorsport driver beat Ogier by 1.4 seconds on the Menalo Mountain stage, increasing his overall advantage to 6.3 seconds after the Toyota driver had reduced the gap across the opening two stages of Saturday morning.
"That was a good stage for us. I tried to keep a better rhythm at the beginning. It was a challenging stage because you can never be completely sure about the braking points with new pace notes. But everything worked well," said Neuville.

Ogier had hinted earlier that he still had additional pace in reserve, but Neuville remained calm, insisting that preserving the car, the tyres and a consistent rhythm was more important than engaging in psychological games with plenty of stages still remaining.
Adrien Fourmaux retained third overall despite running wide at one corner, while Takamoto Katsuta stayed fourth ahead of Josh McErlean. Championship leader Elfyn Evans climbed to sixth after overtaking Martins Sesks.
Sami Pajari remained ninth after losing additional time with a spin late in SS10. With three more stages scheduled on Saturday, the battle between Neuville and Ogier continues to headline the fight for victory before Sunday's finale.
