Independent squad MotoXracing has officially confirmed its continued presence in the Superbike World Championship for the 2027 season. Team principal Sandro Carusi has firmly set aside previous considerations to switch to four-wheel motorsport or focus purely on the Italian Superbike Championship (CIV), opting instead to press ahead on the world stage.

Since stepping up to the WorldSBK paddock in 2023, the team has faced a steep learning curve. Their standout single-digit result remains Bradley Ray's sixth-place finish during his debut year in Imola. Operating without the identical factory-backed machinery and support level enjoyed by outfits like GRT Yamaha, the squad has had to extract maximum performance from an increasingly outdated Yamaha R1 package.

Despite the competitive hurdles and the technical gap to the frontrunners, the garage remains fully motivated. For the upcoming 2027 campaign, management has officially locked in its rider lineup, handing fresh opportunities to promising young talents, spearheaded by Italian youngster Mattia Rato.

Rato has continuously impressed observers throughout his rookie season despite contending with machinery limitations. The 21-year-old managed to carve out three valuable championship points, securing two at the Balaton Park Circuit and another crucial point during his home round at Cremona, displaying tenacious racecraft.

Retaining this youthful pairing underscores the team's long-term developmental vision. As the championship prepares for another fiercely competitive year in 2027, MotoXracing aims to build upon this foundational experience to narrow the performance deficit against the established factory operations.
