Max Verstappen secured his first-ever sprint victory at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, yet the four-time world champion insists he feels 'no emotion' about the achievement as his eyes remain firmly fixed on Sunday's main grand prix.
While the RB22 package has proven exceptionally competitive on the challenging street circuit this weekend, Red Bull Racing continues to battle a recurring weakness regarding their race starts, which allowed George Russell to surge past off the line during the sprint.
"The start was horrendous again, so that's definitely something that we need to improve on," Verstappen admitted. "If you have something like that tomorrow, that's your race over, if nothing crazy happens."

Elaborating on the persistent mechanical traits plaguing their getaway, Verstappen pointed out a distinct lack of acceleration off the mark compared to their rivals, noting even sister squads are managing the launch phase more effectively.
"We have a few limitations that we have to work on, and that is probably from our side as well. We have to do a better job because Racing Bulls sometimes does better starts than us, so yeah, we just need to be better," as reported by Autosport.
