Marc Marquez once again demonstrated his class at the Aragon MotoGP. Despite a tricky start due to a stuck ride-height device, the Gresini rider managed to secure his 77th premier-class victory, closing the points gap to championship leader Jorge Martin.
Starting from fourth, Marquez briefly led at Turn 1 but ran wide, allowing Marco Bezzecchi and Martin to battle ahead. However, with cool composure, Marquez fought back aggressively and regained the lead on lap six, overtaking Bezzecchi on the straight.
This win was more than just another trophy. Marquez slashed Martin's lead to just 19 points and moved ahead of Bagnaia in the standings. With many races still to go, the title fight is heating up.
Behind Marquez, Pedro Acosta impressed with a second-place finish, while Bezzecchi completed the podium in third. Alex Marquez had to settle for fourth, followed by Martin in fifth. Enea Bastianini's comeback to eighth was also noteworthy.
With this result, Marquez proves he remains a serious threat in every round. The question now is: can he maintain this consistency until the end of the season?
