The world championship fight intensified dramatically as Marc Marquez claimed a stellar victory at Mobility Resort Motegi. Following Michelin's mandatory withdrawal of the soft rear tyre due to safety concerns, the entire grid lined up with the hard rear compound for a tense 24-lap tactical showdown.
Pole-sitter Jorge Martin made a brilliant start to control the early proceedings from the front. However, the Pramac rider could not shake off his compatriot, who kept the pressure high throughout the opening stint before making a decisive overtaking move midway through the race.
Once clear at the front, the Ducati star controlled the gap expertly to take the chequered flag, while Martin wisely settled for valuable championship points. Behind the leading duo, a thrilling battle for the final podium spot erupted in the closing laps.

Marco Bezzecchi fended off a ferocious charge from Enea Bastianini by a razor-thin margin of just 0,078 seconds to secure third place after a gripping finale.
