Under the scorching heat of Lombok, the term warm-up proved to be quite misleading as track conditions closely mirrored those of the previous day's sprint race. A total of 21 riders headed out onto the Mandalika circuit, with the VR46 squad immediately standing out in their eye-catching Indonesian-themed livery.
While Trackhouse rider Raul Fernandez bravely soldiered on despite a broken finger sustained in a sprint crash, Honda stand-in Aleix Espargaro was forced to withdraw from the event altogether. The GP veteran opted out of both the warm-up and the main Grand Prix due to persistent pain, compounded by incomplete rehabilitation from his heavy Sepang crashes six months prior.
Despite the finger injury, Fernandez showed remarkable speed on track, clocking the second-fastest lap time of 1:29,660 minutes. The only rider faster than the Spaniard was fellow brand rider Marco Bezzecchi, who set the benchmark at 1:29,617 minutes during the morning session.

Marc Marquez concluded the warm-up in third place ahead of Fermin Aldeguer and Jorge Martin. However, the session was far from smooth for Martin, who suffered a crash at Turn 11 with just three minutes remaining on the clock. Although the championship contender emerged uninjured, his machine suffered significant damage in the spill.
Behind Fabio Di Giannantonio in sixth, Pedro Acosta crossed the line, followed by Alex Marquez, Fabio Quartararo, and sprint runner-up Ai Ogura, setting the final tone before the main race gets underway.
