Driver Liam Lawson delivered an impressive performance to finish as the best of the rest behind the top-tier teams at the Singapore Grand Prix held at the Marina Bay Circuit. Piloting his Racing Bulls charger, he successfully secured seventh place following a tense early-battle and collected six vital championship points.
Starting from eighth on the grid from the unfavored dirty side, Lawson gambled on soft tires. The tactical choice paid off immediately when he muscled past his main rival from Alpine, Pierre Gasly—who started seventh on medium compounds—through the Turn 1, 2, and 3 sequence.
The initial momentum did not stop there, as the superior grip from his soft tires surprisingly put him in a position to challenge McLaren's Oscar Piastri upon exiting Turn 3 during the opening lap of the demanding night race.

Reflecting on the race unfold, the young charger expressed satisfaction with the final result that further solidified his team's standing in the championship. "I'm satisfied, I mean the target really was to get him off the line, and we were able to do that," Lawson told media.
"When we attacked Turn 1, he went off, and I squeezed him really well there, and starting on the soft, I had so much grip; I was attacking the McLaren. I didn't really want to be, and I just wanted them to pull away," he explained regarding the unexpected early duel.
The strong points haul pushed Racing Bulls to 100 points in the constructors' standings, pulling 32 points clear of Alpine, while the driver himself reached 75 points in the drivers' championship following a string of resilient weekend performances.
"But in the first part of the race, everybody was bunching up, but the car has been very strong this weekend in all conditions, and we are very, very happy. I feel great. It has been a good year overall, and we've been strong for a lot of the year, and this triple-header, it's been coming back to the team," he concluded.
