Isack Hadjar endured a truly nightmarish weekend at the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix as a relentless wave of mechanical issues completely derailed his performance with Red Bull Racing at the Marina Bay Circuit.
Trouble began right from the get-go during the single practice session of the sprint weekend, where the French driver complained about excessive bottoming in braking zones and a slippery throttle pedal, leaving him with a massive deficit to pacesetter George Russell and teammate Max Verstappen.
The lack of speed carried over into the sprint shootout, where his only lap time in SQ3 was deleted due to a track-limit breach, compounded by engine issues on his final run that left him struggling in ninth position on the grid.

Things went from bad to worse in the wet sprint race as he lost positions to Pierre Gasly and Oliver Bearman on the opening lap before a power unit failure forced him to retire on lap three, with the recovery process even seeing his car catch fire.
Mechanical misfortune struck again during the main qualifying session when a broken fourth gear brought him to a halt on track, completely ruining his momentum and capping off a deeply frustrating weekend.
