All 26 cars and 52 drivers for The Bend 500 are hitting the track today, including wildcards from Team 18 and Tickford Racing. This is one of only two full-field test days permitted for the year, alongside the pre-season test at Sydney Motorsport Park.
That makes it a crucial day not only to prepare for the enduros, but also for developing car setups away from race meetings. Teams like Triple Eight and Dick Johnson Racing will use this opportunity to fine-tune their aerodynamic packages and balance on a demanding circuit.
Although the test is closed to spectators, fans can follow along via live timing below and stay tuned to Sportrik for updates throughout the day. With such a rare full-field test, every lap counts.

Teams like Walkinshaw Andretti United and Erebus Motorsport will be experimenting with various setups to unlock performance ahead of The Bend. It's also a chance for driver pairings to build chemistry, especially new combinations like Chaz Mostert and Fabian Coulthard in the Toyota Supra, or Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood in the Ford Mustang.
Don't miss the action, as this test could provide early indications of which teams will be strong contenders in the upcoming endurance races. Who will come out on top? We'll find out soon.
