A flawless performance was delivered by Max Verstappen during an intense qualifying session at Marina Bay, where the Red Bull Racing star successfully secured the front-row grid spot for the upcoming main race.
The grid-deciding session commenced under scorching weather conditions with ambient temperatures reaching 30 degrees Celsius and the track temperature hitting 41 degrees Celsius, alongside a high humidity level of 77 percent and no threat of rain throughout the session at the challenging street circuit.
Various teams had to work tirelessly in their garages following earlier incidents, ranging from damage sustained by both McLaren cars, a gearbox issue for Isack Hadjar, to component damage on the cars of Lance Stroll, Sergio Perez, and George Russell.

Early drama unfolded on the asphalt as several drivers struggled to control their machines due to low tyre grip early in the session, while the reigning world champion fought hard to secure the necessary lap time to advance safely.
With an impressive lap in the closing moments, the Dutch driver outpaced his rivals to etch a new milestone in his illustrious career at the premier single-seater racing championship.
