I am a bit sad because I am leaving the WorldSBK championship in the worst possible way, said Danilo Petrucci. But on the other hand, I ask myself what I could have done differently. This year I went to my limit. I crashed much more often this year than in previous years combined.

I cannot utilize the potential of the motorcycle and cannot compensate for the problems. Getting injured just to ride around in the rear positions is not worth it to me. I am not 25 anymore, he explained.
