Former Red Bull Racing team principal and CEO Christian Horner received a combined 100.482 million pounds in compensation for loss of office following his departure from the Milton Keynes outfit in July 2025, according to newly published UK Companies House documents.
The Briton was replaced in the role on 9 July 2025 by former Racing Bulls team principal Laurent Mekies, before officially leaving the wider Red Bull Group on 13 August 2025. This marked the definitive end of an extensive leadership tenure that shaped the squad's championship-winning dominance over two decades.
Annual financial filings for Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technologies, where Horner served as a director, detail the exact breakdown of his settlement payments. Horner received 33.494 million pounds from Red Bull Racing and 66.988 million pounds from Red Bull Technologies for loss of office, bringing the combined total to 100.482 million pounds.

Since his exit from the Formula 1 paddock, Horner has remained at the center of multiple rumors linking him to various rival outfits, including Alpine and Ferrari. After taking a step back from the limelight, he made his first appearance in the paddock since his abrupt departure at the 2026 British Grand Prix, where he addressed his future.
Speaking to Sky Sports F1 ahead of the race weekend at Silverstone, Horner reflected on his return. "First time I've come back, so it's great to be back here at Silverstone," Horner told Sky Sports F1. "Ultimately, I'm a fan. I've not missed one since '93, so it's good to be here." When pressed on a potential return to management, he added that he would only consider a project with a genuine chance of winning.
