Formula 1, Sportrik Media - Charles Leclerc put Ferrari on top of the timesheets at 08:00 during day one of the second 2026 F1 pre-season test at the Bahrain International Circuit.
Leclerc posted a 1:33.739 to lead the early session, ahead of Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli with a 1:34.473. Third place went to Lando Norris of McLaren, who recorded a 1:34.766.
Red Bull Racing driver Isack Hadjar placed fourth, followed by Pierre Gasly for Alpine and Fernando Alonso with Aston Martin in the top six.

The pre-season running forms part of preparations for Formula 1’s new 2026 regulations, with all 11 teams maximising track time to understand their all-new cars before the season begins at the Australian Grand Prix in early March.
The 2026 pre-season schedule features two three-day tests in Bahrain, giving teams their final opportunity to validate performance, reliability, and aerodynamic packages before the opening round.
